India Hick's Harbour Island home looks like just my cup o' tea. I love the dark wood floors and light as air white walls. Remind me why I live in NYC again??
Despite the threat of a Hurricane EARL the HURL, we are headed to Bermuda for Labor Day.
Looks like we may be indoors sipping alot of these bad boys. When the weather gets dark and stormy, you drink a dark and stormy (or two...or twelve). Here is the recipe for this nectar o' the gods.
Check out the new Hermès site J'aime Mon Carre, a micro site dedicated to the iconic scarf and the young hip women who wear them. I have a question Hermès. Why wasn't I picked to be on your site? If the answer is because I don't own an Hermès scarf (YET!) then I say...Touchè.
So...until then, I'll just be online, looking at this website. Cool.
I'm a match collector (seriously, it's getting out of hand) so these little beauties caught my eye. Leave it to the Swedes to come up with some serious design genius! Sold at The Swedish Museum of Architecture in Stockholm. Anyone planning a trip? Buy me some!! Found here.
I am LOVING Dieppa Restrepo's line of snazzy unisex oxfords and boots. The peach patent leather is my definite fave. FYI - they come in mint green! I'm in love.
I am loving these rare, just released prints of Miss Monroe. If you got an extra $545 lying around, you can pick up a print for your humble abode! See more here.
I really am dying to go back to Paris. And if I had my druthers, I'd be staying here. The Hotel Amour...If Marion Cotillard where a hotel, she'd be this place. No doubt.
A while back I did a post about the chic hardware company Alice Supply & Co. Looks like the trend of pretty tools is catching on. Check out Cynthia Rowley's new line "Genuine Article by Cynthia Rowley". Items range between $10-$25. I love the staple gun!
I love this spread for Marie Claire France. Why is it that French magazines are always cooler than their US counter parts? Last I checked, Marie Claire US was kind of a dud.
Probably my all time favorite "fashion" video. Not only are the clothes gorgeous, but the music is beautiful and Lou Dillon makes it look like a hell of a time.
And you can too! Just find the juiciest, freshest peaches money can buy. Cut them in half, tell the pit to hit the road. Roast them with brown sugar and butter and voila - you're in business.
Or...you can follow this easy recipe. EAT! You're too thin!!
