Scenes from the weekend...Spring in NYC

This weekend was Danny Meyer themed with brunch at Union Square Cafe, dinner at Blue Smoke and drinks at North End Grill. Needless to say, I was well-fed. In between all the feasting, I made a trip to the Greenmarket for some flowers and got around to sprucing up my night stand. Hope your weekend was good!

A.P.C does your laundry

I hate doing laundry, but this little bottle of detergent stopped me in my tracks. Best of all, it smells like lemon and cedarwood. If my laundry soap looked (and smelled) like this, I might be persuaded to make it down to the laundromat a little more. At $35 a bottle, that won't be happening anytime soon, but a girl can dream :)

Lemony Fresh

How great is this packaging for California-based Limoncello di Sonoma? So fun and bright! Makes me excited for summer. Especially after I read this recipe on their website:

Carneros Cooler
Ingredients:
1oz Limoncello di Sonoma
2oz Tequila
3 Strawberries
2 Basil leaves
Squeeze of fresh lemon
½ oz Simple syrup
2oz Club Soda

Directions:
Muddle Strawberries and basil. Add remaining ingredients in an ice filled cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into a tall glass and top with club soda.

This weekend we made the trek up to Vermont for some skiing. Along the way we made stops at the Long Trail Brewery to sample some suds and Simon Pearce. It was a great weekend, with great friends! Hope yours was good!
