The summer heat in NYC is brutal, so I change my summer beauty routine for a lighter approach. It all begins with moisturizer (I like Clinque), then I lay on Physican's Formula Bronzer - I use it in place of cover-up in the summer. After that it's a few swipes of mascara and I'm good to go. I finish it off with my favorite, Rose Bud Salve on the lips and a bit of Body Shop White Musk perfume oil. I find that perfume oil fares better in the hotter months - at least on my skin.

I love the simplicity of this. I can't live without lip balm in the summer (or any season for that matter).

Simple and light, perfect for hot days. I adore Bigelow's Rose Salve. I carry this everywhere I go. Have not tried Body Shops perfume oil, sounds like a great summer fragrance. WIll try it! Thx

Blotting papers! I live in southwest Missouri, where it gets really hot and humid in the summer. I have oily skin, so I cannot live without my powder-free blotting papers!
