Budget Travel has a great article on how to eat like a local in Rome. I always want to try the most local places possible when traveling, but it can be intimidating, especially if you don't speak the language! I'm dying to visit Rome for some cacio e pepe!

Actually, we have a fairly extensive trip report on our blog about it. My wife is an amazing travel planner and brought a few food magazine with us.
I've never eaten like that before!
My boyfriend is an AMAZING travel planner (don't know how he does it.)
