eggcellent idea
I thought this Paint Chip Garland featured on Terra Savvy was such a good idea for Easter! Best of all, it's free. See the how-to here.

so cute! and so cheap!
I think this might be something I could even pull off......and who knows - all those paint colors around might even inspire me to paint the bedroom (that I have been planning on doing for 2 years)

Those are SOOO cute!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
That's awesome that you donated to locks of love. That's why I'm growing mine out right now (I last donated to them in '04), but am enjoying my "mermaid" hair. Think I'll keep it through summer and maybe get ready to donate in winter. It grows so fast (and I have a lions mane of hair- haha) figure I might as well give it to someone who's in need! :D Happy Thursday!
Great idea Nicky - it's a really great cause and a wonderful way to give back!! My hair grows really fast too - I'm almost due for another big chop!
What a great idea! I love collecting paint samples and this post is giving me other non-Easter ideas as to how to use them!
