meet your match
I love the quirky illustrations in Matchbook - an online magazine started by blogger Katie Armour and her friend.
And I thought their feature on 10 things to do under $10 was very clever. The fresh flowers are my personal fave. I'm a total deli flower junkie!!

This list is inspiring. I particularly like the box of colored chalk.
And that's a nice shot of Audrey below!
How cute! Love the color, and as a poor teacher, I can also appreciate the sentiment. : )

Gosh, I haven't made fresh lemonade since my lemonade stand days... I should definitely do that!

The illustrations from matchbook are lovely. Its so nice to see illustrations still being published in magazines, I just wish there was more of it.

Yay for matchbook mag! And I agree, the flowers were my favorite idea too!
What a sweet post. I love the freshness of it. Vintage books my
favorite and I am partial to flowers, too.
I agree- the fresh flowers are my favorite for sure. Such an easy way to brighten a room.
Thanks for your comment on my blog yesterday - I'm a bit new at it and it's fun to know I've caught someone's attention other than my friends. As for your blog, I'm quite enamored. I love your love of food. And how do you manage to travel to so many amazing places so often??? Jealous!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love yours already. So much here to inspire.
My personal favorite is the movie - there is something even more special catching a matinee showing than going at night.
@BookGeek - I agree! Maybe because it feels like we're playing hooky??
Thanks for the list. It brings to mind how much fun depends on ourselves and not on the money spent. I found about your blog in another one that I follow:
