super snack
Sometimes there is nothing better than a homemade sandwich. This little beauty made the perfect weekend snack. I started with a fresh baguette from Eataly and topped it with proscuitto, fontina, sauteed mushrooms, arugula and good olive oil. That and a little glass of rose...a snack worth bragging about.

Never thought of a sandwich as a snack, but this looks and sounds fantastic. And the olive oil is the perfect touch. I think I might steal your idea and have this sometime during the week. Thanks!
In Spain, bread, olive oil, cured ham and just some slices of tomato is a classic, but you now that already don't you? Hmmm, but this invention of yours looks even better.
