NYC: Birreria at Eataly

This weekend we hit the Birreria on the rooftop of Eataly for some cask ale and cheese. The sun was shining and the beer was flowing. Sadly, New York City is lacking in the outdoor dining department, so the rooftop is a novelty, especially on a beautiful Summer day.



Our favorite was the "Liquid Gold" beer, which was cold and refreshing.






We splurged and got the 7 cheese plate, which came with fresh bread and honey. My favorite was the fresh ricotta.

Unfortunately the beer and apricot marinated pork shoulder didn't last long enough to make it on camera. At $19 it was priced to move.

If you find yourself in the Flatiron district, hit the Birreria. Bottoms up!

Apologies for my sparse posting. This week has been crazy busy!! Looking forward to enjoying a lazy New York weekend. Come back next week. I promise to be more interesting :)
