Last week I happily stumbled upon Rookie, an online submission-based zine for teenage girls.

As a product of the YM Magazine generation, Rookie brought me back to my younger days. Rookie is full of fun, snarky content, including this hilarious article expertly titled "Don't Be a Babysitter".

Either way, let you inner pimply 14-year old run wild and check out Rookie. It's da bomb.

Ok, I'm definitely kinda embarrassed to admit this, but I cried over this.

super snack

Sometimes there is nothing better than a homemade sandwich. This little beauty made the perfect weekend snack. I started with a fresh baguette from Eataly and topped it with proscuitto, fontina, sauteed mushrooms, arugula and good olive oil. That and a little glass of rose...a snack worth bragging about.
