scenes from the weekend...Quechee, VT

This weekend we made the trek up to Vermont for some skiing. Along the way we made stops at the Long Trail Brewery to sample some suds and Simon Pearce. It was a great weekend, with great friends! Hope yours was good!

While doing some thirsty online browsing, I came across this little gem. It combines two of my favorite things; booze and Downton Abbey. This gal is called the Lady Mary - a tart, but refreshing Lillet (French apertif wine) based cocktail, topped with Champagne. I am so down.

This weekend was low key and involved a lot of couch time. Sunday brunch consisted of homemade eggs en cocotte with chorizo and asparagus. That was my weekend. How was yours?

I'm back from an amazing (an cold) trip to the French Alps and Switzerland. Here are some photos I took, though to be honest, it was too cold to take many photos.
