Sweet Stellina
I have to say, I love the branding for new sweets & gelato spot Stellina in NYC's Lower East Side. I mean, they have flavors like Bananimal - banana gelato studded with animal crackers. Annnnd they deliver.
Let's just say it looks like my kind of place. That chocolate cake and I have a very bright future together.

Tripnotes: Bermuda
Peeps, for real - It hailed in NYC yesterday, which made me look back fondly on my trip to Bermuda. Here goes!
After a harrowing time trying to get to the airport on time (Hello Labor Day traffic!) we FINALLY made it to Bermuda. And with a view like this, we were thankful we did!
The next morning it was off to the beautiful Port Royal Golf Course for a quick game of 9 holes. I’m not a golfer, but I decided to tag along for the gorgeous sweeping views Port Royal is known for. (Side note – in a funny twist of fate, Spencer and I met the director of Bermuda tourism at a cocktail party a few weeks before our trip. He was kind enough to invite us to Port Royal. Thanks Billy!)
After that, we went in search of food and shade. Enter Mickey’s at Elbow Beach – a euro style bistro right on the beach. It ain’t cheap, but the views are definitely worth it.
We stayed at the Fairmont South Hampton – an older property that could probably use a nip and tuck here and there. The private beach accessible only to Fairmont guests via shuttle more than makes up for it’s aesthetic shortcomings. It’s also a short walk from the Gibbs Hill lighthouse.
We headed up the hill and into the lighthouse where we were treated to gorgeous 360 views of Bermuda. Definitely worth checking out.
Then it was off to the Marina where we rented a small Boston Whaler by the hour and scooted around the gorgeous, clear waters of Bermuda for fishing (we caught Red Snapper!) and snorkeling. It was definitely a highlight of the trip and an affordable, unique way to experience the island.
The next day was our last and we were ready for some serious r&r. It was off to the Fairmont beach for snowcones and tanning.
I brought some seriously addictive reading.
We decided to celebrate the end of a great trip with a very special dinner at The Waterlot Inn – which has been serving the best steaks on the island for over 340 years!
I love their Caesar salad –prepared tableside according to your exact specifications. I like mine with extra lemon! After a big meal, we rolled back to the Fairmont.
Bermuda was lovely – and it was sad to say goodbye! Good thing it’s only about 2 hours from New York City. Can’t wait to go back!!

kitchen vs. kitchen
These are two very different kitchens from the March/April issue of Lonny that I love equally! Which is why, when I own my mansion, I'll have two kitchens.
k?

ebay = cool
Check out what I won on Ebay! I was looking for a Liberty of London teapot, but instead I found these cool Liberty for Mac lipsticks. Looove the packaging, but the colors are great too - perfect for Spring and Summer. Also, I have a lot of weddings coming up soon and I love to experiment with make-up for special events! Ebay RULEZ!

mai tai monday
Take a look at this lil lady: a sweet n' sour mai tai from No.7 restaurant in Brooklyn. The recipe calls for Thai chile infused dark rum and soy infused white rum. Don't think I'll be infusing ma own rums any time soon, so I guess it's off to No.7 I go!! That grilled pineapple garnish has me drooling on my keyboard. Cheers!! Happy Monday :)

at home with gap
I love the photos on Refinery 29 of Jane Herman's brooklyn abode. She's the director of concept at Gap, and her place reminds me of the Gap - basic and pretty! Tons of natural light too - jjjjeallllouuuussss!!

smell me
Last night after work, I stopped by The Body Shop and brought this little lady home with me. I'm newly obsessed!! Have you guys used White Musk before? I can't stop sniffing myself. HELP!!
p.s. I really love the simple, bare bones packaging and the fact that the bottle is so tiny. It feels like a secret potion!

breakfast of champions
I never make breakfast at home during the week and usually I just grab a yogurt to eat at the office, but damn, these blueberry pancakes look good. Starting to consider waking up a little bit earlier to make these bad boys. Happy Monday!
