Tilton Fenwick - New Traditional

Anne Maxwell Foster and I were introduced at a mutual friend's cocktail party and immediately hit it off after discovering we're from neighboring towns in Upstate New York (we grew up shopping at the same mall!)

She and her friend Suysel recently started Tilton Fenwick, a burgeoning interior design firm that is going places FAST! This month, Tilton Fenwick was featured in Lonny and is in the running for Trad Home's 20 New Traditionals contest. I love their interpretation of "Country Cosmopolitan" - looks so cozy.

Sunny in Spain

As a combo birthday/6 year anniversary celebration, I'm off to Barcelona for an extended weekend. And I thought I'd share the good news about the forecast. Since it's been perpetually gray and raining in NYC (and I won't stop complaining about it) I am beyond excited to sip Sangria shoreside in shorts tomorrow. I'll be back next week and hopefully with a tan!

I am such a big Adele fan and I just loved this cover of The Gentlewoman (hello Tiffany blue). I jam to "Rolling in the Deep" like it's my job (my neighbors love me).

Today is my birthday! So I'm taking the day off of work to wander the city with my Mom and Dad. Later, we're having champagne and oysters! xo.

Julez for Japan

After seeing the devastating footage of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Solange Knowles' son Julez wanted to help out. So he created a watercolor inspired by the Japanese flag which is now being printed on t-shirts and sold to benefit the disaster relief efforts. At just 6 years old, it really goes to show that compassion is universally understood at any age.
