Ladurée takes Manhattan

The ever sweet Nicolette Mason, has some even sweeter photographs of the newly opened Ladurée, located a short subway ride uptown. These photos are making me drool. I can't wait to head uptown for a box of these French beauties (the raspberry and pistachio are my favorites...). The best part is the boxes they come in are totally reusable. I use mine to store jewelry and make-up.

Make sure you head uptown to visit this delicious destination, and make sure you visit Nicolette's blog for even more tasty photos.

I have ALWAYS wanted to try this place!! NYC isn't exactly close by, but it's a heck of a lot closer than Paris!

We went on Sunday, but it was closed! We were so sad but settled for 2nd place macarons at Bouchon. Still really delicious, but there's something special about Ladurée.

My favorite macaroon flavor is lemon! These boxes remind me of the ones they have here at Bottega Louie in downtown LA.
