My Fall Essentials
As a native New Yorker there's nothing better than Autumn in New York. Pumpkin flavored foods abound and there is a chill in the air. Plus, it's sweater weather! As much as I love summer time (I am a latin lady after all...) Autumn is my jam. Here are my essentials for Fall...
1. Liberty of London Barbour Jacket - perfect for my chilly morning walk to work.
2. The Art of Fielding – a good book is always essential, but this one is a real page turner – perfect for rainy Fall days.
3. Avibon – to keep my skin from freaking out when the weather shifts drastically.
4. Le Cruset cookware is perfect for making chili and butternut squash soup on Sundays.
5. Hudson Bay Blanket - for curling up on the sofa for all day college football marathons (not my idea, but if you can't beat 'em, join 'em).
6. Fall Cocktail – I’m such a freak for seasonally appropriate cocktails. This Fall, I can’t wait to try this recipe.
What are your Fall essentials?

Bucket List: Blackberry Farm
I've recently discovered the beauty that is Blackberry Farm after this beautiful article was published in Town & Country magazine and now I'm officially obsessed. Between the cozy, modern traditional cottages, the farm to table fine dining program and the culinary demos, on-site fly fishing, skeet shooting and equestrian center, it's basically sleep away camp for adults. No wonder it was named Travel & Leisure magazine's #1 resort in North America. So imagine my surprise, when I received a email from Gilt Taste announcing an all things Blackberry Farm flash sale. Sure, the Culinary Vacation with Ruth Richel, priced at a mere $7,000 may be out of the realm of possibility, but for us mere mortals, there are cheeses and artisanal oils to be had! In the mean time, I'll continue to dream (and drool) about my bucket list trip to Blackberry Farm.

Zara Home Stateside
Last year, when I was traveling in Spain I fell upon Zara Home (a division of my beloved Zara) and fell deeply in love. There were dishes, towels, duvets, barware and scented candles...and I wanted it all. Without a suitcase large enough to haul back my discoveries, I’m thankful that Zara Home is now available online and is offering free shipping through the month of October! I’m doing some early Christmas shopping (...for myself...oops) and these were some of my favorite things. Spoiler Alert – everyone on my list is getting this.

The Tenenbaum Collection
If you're a diehard Wes Anderson fan, like myself, these book covers will look familiar to you. If you haven't had a chance to read Accounting For Everything by Henry Sherman, may I suggest it? One of my faves.

City Hall Weddings
I love these snaps of New Yorkers getting married at City Hall. Each bride has such a unique take on bridal wear.

You Scream, I Scream
I guess I'm a little late to the party, but I've been drooling over the images and recipes at Herriot Grace. Have you seen this blog? Her epic lactose-laden farewell to summer has me wishing these summer days would stick around juuust a little longer.
To learn how to make your own homemade ice cream, check out Herriot's recipe.
