All That Jazz
I’m into Jazz. Not Carrie Mathison into Jazz, but I dig it. And it’s a known fact that Jazz album covers are the best around. I submit the following as proof of my argument. They don’t make ‘em like they used to. All covers found here.

What Wearstler Wears
I wrote all about how I loved every inch of the Kelly Wearstler designed Viceroy Anguilla, so really, it's no surprise I would love every inch of that bitches' closet. Can you believe this thing? It looks like an upscale Claire's. I am dying inside because I know my closet will never look a damn thing like this, and that is a tragedy of the highest order. Won't you share in my pain? See more here.

Required Reading: Winter 2012
While without power during the after effects of Frankenstorm, I got a lot of reading (by candlelight...not great) done and realized I hadn’t posted a required reading list since this summer! During the colder months, there’s nothing I like better than staring at my unused yoga ball and reading a good book. Here’s what I’ll be reading this Winter.
1. The Art of Fielding – This book and I got through Hurricane Sandy, one page at a time.
2. Gone Girl – All my friends rave about this book, and I trust them implicitly.
3. Rules of Civility - A recent favorite, this book is beautifully written and I couldn't put it down!
4. The Bucolic Plague - A story about a gay couple who buy a farm in Upstate New York and have no clue what do with it. Hilarious and inspiring.
5. The Chaperone - I'm judging this one based solely on the cover. I'm sold.

Hurricane Sandy....
Apologies for my lack of posting. I’ve been picking up the pieces post-Sandy and slowly getting back into the groove. We lost power, heat and water for 5 days, and while that was a major inconvenience, I’m feeling blessed to have a roof over my head this evening, while others don’t. My heart goes out to all those who are suffering as a result of Sandy. If you’d like to make a donation the Red Cross, you can help here.
